I don't know if I need to figure out how to update a "PS2" driver in Windows, or if I need to find a keyreading program that works, or what. I tried going into Clone Hero and replacing the default keys with the guitar's buttons, but it just acts like I'm not pressing anything and leaves it on whatever key it was on before. The Windows configuration tool DOES read button presses - if I press them 7 or 8 times in a row, it'll show up for a few seconds.

The Windows gamepad configuration tool thinks that I'm using a standard PS2 controller, so the only configuration I can do there is pressing things on the D-pad (which the guitar doesn't have). Filename: Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock (USA).7z. Download the Guitar Hero III - Legends Of Rock (USA) ROM for Playstation 2/ PS2.

I've tried Xpadder, but it doesn't even register the button presses. Game general and emulation properties: Guitar Hero is a music rhythm game featuring a guitar-shaped. However, after 2 hours of googling, I can't figure out why my controller won't do anything when I press buttons, or what program I need in order to set it up. I recently got the game, borrowed a controller, downloaded some songs, bought a PS2 to USB adapter, and sat down to play.
